EVELYN: she was adapting as she sold her house to cover her husband depts. and she started to look for new job to live in better life.
GRAHAM: he used to live in India, he was communicating with locals easily, simply feeling at home. when he landed to India the flight has been delayed. so he arranged a bus as he enjoyed the see the views along the trip.
DOUGLAS AINSLIE: He was adapting as although he lost his money in a business, but he was looking positive to the things around him , he is enjoying his life and he is loyal to his wife he used to going out everyday. And he makes a friendship with Evelyn.
JEAN AINSLIE: she couldn't adapt as she hates India cause her husband lost his money in a business. she stayed indoor most of the time and cant wait to return back to UK. she refuses to change and adapt to her new surroundings.
DONNELLY: she was trying to adapt as she was alone without a family, she loved her job as it is the only things left to her.
HARDCASTLE: she was trying to adapt, although she had failed in many relationships. But it seems she couldn't succeed as was complaining about the room she got and she started to get another one.
